Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress best known for playing Bo on The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories are of attending the play school as well as watching her mother do the perform. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. She was in 1997 when she earned a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. The couple was wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. The couple got married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011they renewed their vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus and a succubus in Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the third season finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans during an episode of the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4 of the show. Her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top TV Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
